Rattlesnake Kisses and Church Pews

Rattlesnake Kisses and Church Pews
is an exploration into the perspective of a queer person living in a modern America. Utilizing a variety of compositions and photographic techniques, this work discusses safety within the queer community and uncomfortability within societal boundaries through a lens of obsession, instinct, and passion. With portraits born out of admiration, abstracted long exposures forcing a voyeuristic position on the viewer, and landscapes mocking traditional straight male photographers, this work encompasses the overwhelming feelings of queer humanity, always fueled by devotion, fear, and vulnerability.
